Our Story
Katy Professional Firefighters Association was founded on February 5th, 2019, is a free and voluntary organization, composed of certified firefighters, as defined by the legislature of the State of Texas. Members are employed by the City of Katy Fire Department, and civilian personnel employed by the Katy Fire Department.

Our objective consists of promoting benevolent, educational, charitable, civic, patriotic, and fraternal activities among our members. We work to preserve and strengthen comradeship among our members, promote health, security, economic, cultural, legislative, educational, social, and recreational interests of our members, their families, and the citizens of Katy.

We defend and extend democratic institutions, procedures, civil rights, and liberties of our members and their families and all others. We maintain true allegiance and faith in the laws of the State of Texas and the Constitution of the United States of America.

We are proud to be members of the Katy Professional Firefighters Association and aim to serve the citizens of Katy with the upmost professionalism, courage, and compassion.
